  • Train and coach partner teams on MEL design, data collection, data management and analysis
  • Prepare, quality-check and present advisory deliverables
  • Design and facilitate workshops and learning events
  • Build relationships with partner leadership and act as a strategic thought partner
  • Support scoping, methodology design and proposal writing for new engagements
  • Contribute to the unit’s knowledge management, strategy and team culture

Qualifications and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as economics, statistics, public policy, international development or social science
  • Two to five years of relevant experience in MEL, data analysis, consulting or research
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of the time
  • Preferred: a master’s degree, consulting experience, familiarity with randomised evaluations, French, Spanish or Portuguese, and work experience in Africa or other low- and middle-income countries
