Our story
Who we are
Ingenious Learning Solutions Ltd is a Ugandan research, learning and technology company. We were incorporated in Kampala in 2015.
We help organisations find low-cost, high-impact answers to the problems in front of them. We combine rigorous research, practical learning and smart technology so that our clients can make better decisions and get more done.
Since 2016 we have planned, run and managed field research for universities and research firms in the United States and in Uganda. That work includes randomised experiments, surveys, and monitoring and evaluation.
We have since grown into four connected service lines: Research, Educational Consulting, Software Development and Artificial Intelligence. Our research informs our training, and our software and AI make both faster and easier to grow. Our clients include companies, non-profits, schools, academic institutions, public bodies and individual researchers.

Ingenious Learning Solutions Ltd is a private company limited by shares, registered and tax-compliant in Uganda. Our head office is at Suite D13-A, 3rd Floor, Nansana Business Centre, P.O. Box 35305, Kampala, Uganda.
Our approach
How we work
We work through five clear stages and keep in close contact with you throughout. Quality checks are built into every step.
- Listen. We understand the goal, the setting and the constraints, and agree the scope and budget.
- Design. We develop the protocol, tools, curriculum or system, and secure ethics and other approvals.
- Prepare. We recruit and train the team, test the tools and set up the logistics.
- Deliver. We run the fieldwork, training or build, with daily monitoring and quality control.
- Report. We analyse, report and hand over data, tools and skills to you.
Built into every project
Quality assurance. Back-checks, audio audits, high-frequency data checks and supervisor spot-checks on every field project. Every field team works from a written training manual and protocol covering respondent selection, behaviour standards and photo protocols, so data stays consistent across enumerators and sites.
Ethics and compliance. Experience with MUREC and other research ethics committees, and with approvals from the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST). Informed consent and respondent protection are standard.
Data protection. Encrypted data collection, controlled access and handling that complies with Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.
